Why drinking rain water without treating it is not good in your body.

Rain water is the water that falls from the sky at rainy seasons; we collect those water and use them in doing many things such as: bathing, washing of clothes, washing of food items and even for drinking.

Is rain water really good for drinking?

Rain water originally would have been good for drinking in its unpolluted state, but sadly, before the water could reach us here from its source, it must have been polluted by various elements in the sky such as: Ozon, Nitrogen-dioxide, Toxic air-pollutions, Sulfur-dioxide, Tear-gas, Smokes from machinery, amongst many more.
Therefore rain water is not safe for drinking, though it may be good for other usage, but not good for drinking.

Is borehole water very good and safe for drinking?

There is difference between the layer-level at which water is extracted; as such there is also a difference between their safety in drinking. But you would not know whether the particular borehole you are drinking was digged to its proper depth or layer-point unless the water be tested by the professionals.

What can be done inorder to have a good water for consumption?

1. Treat the water before drinking it: You can always treat your borehole water before drinking it, if you're to drink of it irrespective of its layer-level of extraction.
2. Boil the water before drinking it: Be it rain water, stream water or borehole water, if you cannot treat the water medically, you can boil the water: put the water in a very clean container and boil it to the complete decree celcius which is 100% decree celcius. And also be sure to cover the container very well, inorder to keep the water clean and pure while boiling and after boiling it.

These are some of the infections caused by infected water:

1. Choleral.
2. Diarrhea.
3. Typhoid.
4. Amebiasis.
5. Hepatitis.
6. Gastroenteritis.
7. Giardiasis.
8. Campylobacteriosis.
9. Scabies.

So when you treat your water or boil it before drinking, those pollutants would be killed off and then the water would become very good for drinking, irrespective the kind of water it was.
