Some of the causes of infertility in men

There are some of the things that a man can do and it causes him to be infertile; infertility is a condition where a man is unable to reproduce, unable to impregnate a woman they've been living together and having sex for years. The woman is fertile, but the man is infertile. As such, he's unable to impregnate the woman.
Here are some of the medical causes of infertility in a man:

1. Varicocele: A varicocele is the swelling of the veins that drains the testicle. This is one of the most common cause of male infertility, and it may be related to abnormal blood flow. Varicoceles do always lead to reduced sperm quantity and quality.

2. Ejaculation issue: Retrograde ejaculation happens when the semen enters the bladder during ogasm instead of emerging the tip of the penis. This can be caused by various infection like diabetes, spinal injury, medication, surgery of the bladder, prostate or urethra.

3. Infection: Some infection can interfere with spem production, sperm health or can cause scarring that blocks the passage of the sperm. These include inflammation of the epididymis (epididymitis) or testicles (orchitis) and some sexually transmitted infections, including gonorrhea or HIV. Although some infections can result in permanent testicular damage, most often sperm can still be retrieved.

4. Antibodies that attacks sperm: Anti-sperm antibodies are immune system cells that mistakenly identifies sperm as harmful Invaders, and attempts to eliminate them.

5. Tumors: Cancers and nonmalignant tumors can affect the male reproductive organ directly through the glands that release hormones related to reproduction, such as the pituitary gland, or through an unknown causes.

6. Problem with sexual intercourse: This can include trouble-keeping or maintaining an erection sufficient for sex (erectile dysfunction), painful intercourse, anatomical abnormalities such as having the urethral opening beneath the penis (hypospadias), or psychological or relationship problems that interfere with sex.

There are also some environmental causes to make infertility:

Over exposure to some certain environmental elements such as heat, toxins and chemicals can reduce sperm production or sperm function. Some of the specific causes includes:

1. Industrial chemicals. Extended exposure to certain chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, organic solvents and painting materials may contribute to low sperm counts.

2. Heavy metal carrying exposure: Exposure to lead or other heavy metals can also lead to infertility.

3. Radiation or X-rays: Exposure to radiation continually can cause low sprm count in a man.

4. Overheating the testicles: Elevated temperature may affect sperm production and function.

Other lifestyle that may cause infertility in a man:

1. Abusive drug use.
2. Weight.
3. Excessive alcohol use.
4. Excessive tobacco smoking.
5. Being born with a fertility disorder.
