Does God Permit Divorce And Remarriage?
It's really sad how the rate of divorce and remarriage is even more common and rampant in this rather gospel era, and even be accepted and preached by the gospel ministers of this modern time; it's really sad. It is good for a man or a woman to pray to God that he or she should marry a good partner, because once you marry, there is nothing like divorce and remarry; God does not permit divorce and remarriage. People always use Matthew 5:32b where Jesus seems to give a condition for divorce as an excuse for divorce, inorder for them to carry out their selfish desires. Notice what the Bible says here: 1 Peter 3:16 "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction".
